Draft for legal review. The company particulars are complete and the record categories below are a working draft based on how Beyond operates. Confirm they match your actual holdings and have this manual reviewed by a South African attorney before publication.
1. Introduction
PAIA gives effect to the constitutional right of access to information. This manual is a guide to the records held by Beyond AI (Pty) LTD and the procedure for requesting access. It is available free of charge on this website and on request from our Information Officer.

- Describe the record requested, the form of access required, and your contact details, and explain the right you seek to exercise where applicable.
- The prescribed request and access fees may apply. We will notify you of any fee before processing the request.
- We will respond within the periods set by PAIA (ordinarily 30 days, extendable in the circumstances the Act allows).
5. Records held by Beyond
The categories of records Beyond AI (Pty) LTD holds include:
- Company and statutory records — incorporation and CIPC filings, governance, tax and insurance records.
- Financial records — accounting, invoicing and banking records.
- Personnel records — employee and contractor records, including payroll.
- Client and partner records — WiFi subscriber agreements and service licences, orders, correspondence and support records.
- Supplier and upstream-provider records — agreements with Purple and the other providers we rely on to deliver the service.
- Website enquiry records — demo requests submitted through this website (see our Privacy Policy).

These categories are a starting point — confirm they reflect the records you actually hold.
6. Personal information processed under POPIA
The personal information we process through this website, why, who we share it with, cross-border transfers and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. Where we process guests' personal information as an operator on behalf of a business client, that client is the responsible party and access requests should be directed to them. Requests relating to your own personal information held by Beyond can be made to the Information Officer above.
7. Records available in terms of other legislation
Certain records are kept and may be accessed in accordance with legislation other than PAIA, including:
- Companies Act, 2008 — statutory registers and annual returns.
- Tax Administration Act and the Value-Added Tax Act — tax and VAT records.
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act and Employment Equity Act — employment records.
Your attorney should confirm the full list applicable to Beyond AI (Pty) LTD.
8. Grounds for refusal
Access to a record may be refused on the grounds set out in PAIA — including the mandatory protection of the privacy of third parties, commercial information of third parties, confidential information, and records privileged from production in legal proceedings. Where we refuse a request, we will give reasons and explain your right to complain or appeal.
9. Availability of this manual
This manual is available on this website and, on request, from our Information Officer. We may update it from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision.
