There is nothing out here to mount an access point on. Does this even work?
Partly, and the honest answer matters more than the sale. Coverage over open ground is a survey question, not a software one — we measure what reaches where before anyone promises a number, and where it does not reach we tell you that rather than shipping analytics with holes in it.
Is this tracking people in a public space?
No. Nobody is recognised until they sign in and opt in, the record is theirs to view or delete by self-service, and it is POPIA and GDPR governed. Someone who walks across the green and never signs in stays a device count.
Do our traders have to change how they take payments?
No. Their terminals keep working as they do — Beyond puts them on a lane of their own so public WiFi cannot slow them.
The site only runs for part of the year. Is that a problem?
No, and it is the normal case out here. Access can be tied to the season or the event rather than issued permanently, which is also how the steward access ends itself.
