Residential (MDU)

Guest WiFi for Retirement Villages

An at-home network that moves in with them.

A resident moved in with a tablet, a smart TV and a speaker that all worked at their last address. Purple is the platform 80,000+ venues run on, in 90+ countries. iPSK gives each home its own private network, so those devices connect the way they did before. The same sign-in carries them to the clubhouse and across the grounds — and a visiting carer's access ends when the shift does.

The village-wide WiFi Purple already runs

A private network for every home

iPSK gives each home its own isolated network on the village's shared WiFi. A tablet, TV or smart speaker connects the way it did at the old address, invisible to the cottage next door. Comes with the Engage plan.

One sign-in past the front door

The same recognition carries the resident from their own home to the clubhouse, the dining room and the grounds, without a second login at each one.

Carers sign in with the account they already have

Staff WiFi signs visiting clinicians and carers in against the village's own directory, so access ends when their directory record closes.

Speed the village can hold

Bandwidth is set per access point, per village or across every village at once. An evening of streaming in the cottages does not slow the care suite.

Compliant, and self-service

ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, POPIA (South Africa's privacy act) and GDPR aligned. A resident or a family member can view or delete their own record themselves, without asking the village office.

And the same login can do more than connect. Step inside for ten seconds.

Step inside the engine

The ten seconds your resident never notices.

Back in the daylight

Your resident never noticed the tech. Your team never lifted a finger.

A private network for every home, the clubhouse and grounds on the same sign-in, and a carer's access that ends when their shift does — over the access points already installed.

Purple's global reach

Proven platform, deployed on the ground

Purple runs the guest WiFi for some of the biggest names in retail, banking, hospitality and sport. Beyond's own team deploys it on the hardware you already own, wires it into the systems you already run, and supports it from South Africa — not from a call centre in another timezone. Your retirement villages run on that team.

80,000+venues on Purple
90+countries
440Mlogins a year

Built on Purple. We take that foundation and make it yours — the login becomes part of your building.

What Beyond adds — the art of the possible

What Beyond adds with your village and care systems

The family visitor

Beyond can wire the guest welcome to name the resident's cottage or wing. A visitor is not stuck asking at reception before they have even signed in.

The resident

Beyond can tie the home's private network to the occupancy record — issued at move-in, closed at move-out, with nobody doing it by hand.

The visiting carer

Beyond can tie access to the shift or placement record, so it is live for the visit and gone the day it ends.

The village manager

Beyond can trigger a short resident-satisfaction survey through the same login, using Insight Surveys on the Engage plan. A number for the residents' committee, not an anecdote.

The care suite

Clinical systems sit on their own segment, never the lane a resident's phone is on. That is our network design on Purple's platform, not a switch inside it.

What you don't replace

You keep your village-management system, your care records and the access points already installed. Beyond wires into what is there — no forklift upgrade, and nothing in a resident's home has to change.

Straight answers

Frequently asked

Can every home have its own private network?

Yes — iPSK gives each home an isolated network on the village's shared WiFi. A resident's own tablet, TV and speaker connect the way they did at their last address.

Is a resident tracked around the village?

No. Recognition starts once they sign in, it is opt-in and timestamped, and a resident or family member can view or delete the record by self-service.

What happens to a visiting carer's access when the shift ends?

It ends with the shift. Access ties to the village's own directory and the placement record, so there is no shared password to change afterwards.

Do we have to replace our village-management system?

No. Beyond wires into the systems you already run, over the access points already installed.

Who actually built the WiFi part?

Purple — the platform running 80,000+ venues in 90+ countries. Beyond is a Preferred Purple Partner and authorised distributor, and we wire it into your village and care systems.
