Festival and event WiFi, built for a site that exists for a weekend.
Built on Thursday, gone on Monday.
Everything a permanent venue takes for granted has to be stood up, proved and struck again inside four days, on ground that had nothing on it last week. Purple runs the audience side over whatever you deploy, POPIA-compliant — the platform 80,000+ venues run on across 90+ countries. Traders get a lane that cannot be slowed by forty thousand people streaming. And the same login can do more — a crowd that arrives anonymous leaves as a list you own, and you still have it next season.

What are you here to solve?
Four ways into events & festivals. Pick the one that sounds like your week.
The temporary-site WiFi Purple already proves
A branded sign-in from the first gate
The captive portal is yours, live from the moment the site opens, and it turns an anonymous arrival into a named, opted-in contact in one tap — no twelve-field form at a gate with a queue behind it.
Trader payments that never queue
Card machines and bar terminals run isolated from the public network, so the busiest set of the weekend is not the set where the bars stop taking money.
A list that outlives the weekend
The contacts gathered are first-party and yours, with consent captured at the login and a self-service route for anyone who wants to see or delete their record — so next year's announcement does not start from nothing.
Ask the site a question while it is still running
Insight Surveys put one question in front of people who are actually there, rather than a form emailed on the Wednesday after. They come with the Engage tier.
Safe browsing on an open network
Shield filters unsafe sites and forces safe search across a network nobody is screened onto. Licensed from the Capture tier up.
And the same login can do more than connect. Step inside for ten seconds.
The ten seconds your fan never notices.
Known at the gate, not queued at it.
One tap on a branded sign-in turns an anonymous arrival into an opted-in contact, while the queue keeps moving.
The bar that keeps taking money.
Card terminals sit on a lane the crowd cannot reach, so peak footfall and peak payment volume stop being the same problem.
Credentials that come down with the site.
Tied to accreditation, so a contractor's access ends when their build does — not whenever someone next audits it.
Your fan never noticed the tech. Your team never lifted a finger.
A temporary site stood up on schedule, trader payments on their own lane, and a crowd that arrives anonymous and leaves as a list you own — on kit that comes back off the field.
Proven platform, deployed on the ground
Purple runs the guest WiFi for some of the biggest names in retail, banking, hospitality and sport. Beyond's own team deploys it on the hardware you already own, wires it into the systems you already run, and supports it from South Africa — not from a call centre in another timezone. Your events run on that team.
Built on Purple. We take that foundation and make it yours — the login becomes part of your building.
What Beyond adds with your production and trading systems
The fan
Signed in at the gate and recognised at the bar, the stage and the gate again next year. Beyond can key the welcome to the day and the stage they are standing at, not the festival in general.
The trader
Beyond can tell a trader their terminal is degrading before the queue tells them — and put the payment lane somewhere the crowd cannot reach it in the first place.
The crew and contractor
Access that expires when the build does. Beyond can wire it to the accreditation system, so the rigger who leaves on Friday does not still have credentials in November.
The production manager
One console for a site that did not exist last week, and the same view on the Thursday build as on the Saturday peak.
The promoter, planning next year
Movement and dwell across stages, gathered from people who chose to sign in — so the second stage moves because of evidence rather than an argument.
You keep your ticketing platform, your accreditation system, your traders' own terminals and whatever kit you hire in. Beyond deploys, segments and integrates for the run of the event — and takes it down after.

Frequently asked
The site only exists for four days. Is that really worth doing?
It is the reason to do it. A permanent venue can fix a network next week; you cannot. The work is front-loaded into the build so the thing is proved before the gates open, and the list you gather is the part that lasts past Monday.
Is this tracking the crowd?
No. Nobody is recognised until they sign in and opt in, the record is theirs to view or delete by self-service, and it is POPIA and GDPR governed. Someone who never signs in stays a device count.
Do our traders have to change their card machines?
No. They keep their own terminals — Beyond puts them on a lane the public network cannot reach.
What happens to crew access after the event?
It ends with the build if it is wired to your accreditation system, which is what we do. Nobody should be auditing a spreadsheet in November to find out who still has a login.
Who actually built the WiFi part?
Purple, and we would rather say so. Beyond deploys it on your field, integrates it and takes it down again.
