What we do with it
We wrote our own HMAC-signed client for Purple’s Company API and run it in production — webhooks for live capture, plus a nightly sweep that reconciles whatever the stream missed. Every outbound message passes one consent gate, so POPIA is enforced in the send path rather than on the policy page.
A key that knows the booking
Purple gives every back office, ATM lane and vendor device its own private network. Beyond can tie that key’s whole life to your asset and vendor systems — opened when a device is commissioned, revoked when it is retired, so nothing that touches money shares a network with the guest lane.
